At the cafe on the beach

All of our men clients who have traveled to Sochi will recognize this tile mural that is found in the middle of Sochi. It is right next to the cafe where we will celebrate A Russian Romance's Fifth Anniversary, so we couldn't resist a pose in front of Lenin before sitting down to eat.

I have lived through such at time of change, as I seen this tile art go from revered to simply another element of our difficult past. America is my home now, but I completely understand the concerns of my friends here in Sochi. They leave an uneasy but known culture for one that they know of only through the media, our counselors (Inna and the office staff, and my mother). While we're having a great warm afternoon celebration, I never forget that these girls have tremendous courage in their pursuit of their dream of love, families and their destiny.- Sveta Volkova

Juice all around and a late afternoon of questions for both my mom (Inna) and I. We toasted the success of all the women who have found their perfect match through A Russian Romance, and reaffirmed our promise to these beautiful girls to do all that we can do to find them wonderful husbands who are serious about love, marriage and family. (Are you listening men?) They have great hopes and dreams and sincerely hope that you are the man for them. You'll never now unless you try.
